Student Services

Our student services focus on the interests of future legal professionals.

Academic services such as the Academic Advisors, Faculty Advisement, and access to Westlaw ease the transition to graduate studies.

Campus organizations and events help students to forge strong bonds with those who will become their colleagues "at the bar." Groups that promote peer-to-peer mentoring and professional development include the Student Bar Associations; chapters of Delta Theta Phi, an international law fraternity; and, in Ventura, the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.

Social events for students punctuate the calendar, and during fall semester academic achievement is recognized at an Annual Student Awards Dinner for each campus. Periodically, the campus community comes together for our Speakers' Series, in which judges and attorneys address law-related topics such as career development, civility, and law practice specializations.
