Congratulations to COL's Bar Passers

Once again, our graduates performed well on the California General Bar Exam.

Successful Santa Barbara candidates on the February 2011 exam include Adam Carralejo, Jennifer Henderson, Andrew Jennings, Amber Kornowski, Brigid Rice, Renee Roese, Meghan Sherry, and Lindsay Walter.

Those from the Ventura campus include Sherlin Baradaran, Melody Bolger, Ed Elrod, Katherine Hause, Kathleen Owens, Ike Sherman, and Tim Simmen.

First-time takers from the Santa Barbara campus, with a 57% pass rate, beat the statewide average for first-time takers (55%.)

Ventura first-time takers passed at a rate of 40%, not too far off the statewide all-takers rate of 42.3%. Both campuses bested the first-time average for Cal-accredited schools, 27%.

We congratulate our successful February 2011 candidates and hold good thoughts for all COL graduates taking the July 2011 Bar Exam.
