Westlaw
Students enrolled at the Colleges of Law receive passwords to Westlaw®, a premier online database for legal and law-related materials.
Westlaw® provides access to a wide range of resources for legal research, including federal and state statutes, cases, regulations, law journals, and legal news sources. Students use Westlaw® to supplement their classroom texts in their substantive law courses, such as Torts and Contracts, and to perform research for skills-based courses like Legal Research and Moot Court. Instruction in using Westlaw® is provided in the Legal Research course.
Access to Westlaw® is available from any computer with internet access, including computers in the law libraries at each campus. Passwords are provided during registration and instructions for using Westlaw® are provided in the Legal Research course.
