General Bar Exam

To be admitted to practice law in California, applicants must take and pass the California Bar Examination, a three-day test given twice each year, in February and July. Students are strongly encouraged to prepare for the examination by enrolling in a commercial Bar Review course. It is also critical to allow sufficient time for preparation by eliminating or significantly reducing other commitments (such as work and other obligations) during the two months prior to the exam.
