Faculty Advisement

Faculty members at the Colleges of Law get high marks for accessibility.  Because many students in our J.D. program work during the day, professors make themselves available to meet with students before class, during breaks, and after class, individually or in groups. Conferences with professors are typically arranged by phone or email, or through the student portal.

Because all faculty members at the Colleges of Law have practiced law or served on the judiciary, students justifiably consider them to be a rich resource for advice not only on academic subjects, but also on a range of curriculum- and career-related matters, including internships, bar exam preparation, and career development. It's not uncommon for alumni to give credit for their professional success to advice they received from professors at the Colleges of Law.
